From accessible travel and adaptive sports to innovative prosthetic technology and resources for individuals with upper-limb loss (including hands-free solutions), the learning was incredible. On this trip, Miller P&O sent two employees, Alex and Nancy, to help our amputees with their travels. The two amputee members travelling with us had little to no experience flying with limb loss. We learned to great new tricks at the airport on adaptive travel and what the airlines typically do to assist anyone who needs extra help. The biggest tip we learned, ASK for help when you need it and do not feel ashamed. There are employees ready to assist you with your bags, provide a wheelchair, and push you right to your seat!
