Bringing Prosthetic Care Home

Miller Prosthetics & Orthotics expand access across Central Ohio

For individuals living with limb loss, access to quality prosthetic care can be life changing. Yet transportation, limited mobility, and distance from specialty clinics can make even routine appointments difficult. Alex Miller, Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) of Miller Prosthetics & Orthotics, is helping remove those barriers through Miller PO Mobile Services.

Serving Columbus and surrounding Central Ohio communities, Miller brings comprehensive prosthetic care directly to patients’ homes. Services include evaluations, fittings, adjustments, and follow-up care—providing individualized attention without the burden of traveling to a traditional clinic.

This model is especially meaningful for patients who depend on others for transportation and for residents of rural areas with limited access to specialized providers. More convenient follow-up appointments can help patients address fit and comfort concerns while working toward greater mobility, confidence, and independence.

Home visits also give Miller a valuable view of the environment patients navigate every day, helping him understand their individual goals and practical mobility needs.

By meeting patients where they are, Miller Prosthetics & Orthotics demonstrates how mobile healthcare can strengthen access to essential services throughout the Columbus region.

“My goal is to do anything I can to help the limb loss and limb difference community. I am involved in non-profits advocating for the amputee community and volunteer with multiple adaptive sports and fitness classes. This mobile service is just another way I can shoulder a little more of the effort it takes to get someone going through a hard time, back to something they can call normal.” – Alex Miller, CPO
