Piper’s Big Debut — and She’s Just Getting Started!
Piper may be small, but she’s already making a huge impact in our community!
This fearless three-legged pup worked her first full shift at our Amputee Fun Fest—and stole the show. She greeted guests, posed for pictures, and melted hearts all day long. Her charm didn’t go unnoticed—she even made her television debut on WTAP during Cat Bigley’s interview on April 26th!

Since then, Piper’s been busy making appearances around the Mid-Ohio Valley, spreading smiles and reminding everyone that mobility challenges don’t slow her down one bit. Here’s where she’s already made her mark:
United Bank’s Business After Hours event in Parkersburg
The Belpre Business Expo at the Parkersburg Art Center
A heartfelt visit to a rehabilitation center to meet a new amputee
And of course, regular visits to The Amputee Center, where she’s quickly become the unofficial greeter and emotional support extraordinaire
Now that Piper’s all caught up on her vaccinations, she’s ready to take on the world—or at least the entire Mid-Ohio Valley. You’ll be seeing her out and about more often, attending events, visiting with patients, and making sure everyone knows: you don’t need four legs to make a difference.
